Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 10 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Financial industry experience strongly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

Information security and protection of company data is critical and fundamental to this position. Complying with Banking laws and regulations, participating in audits and regulatory exams, planning audit responses and remediation, and deliver those remediations with the team and IT department. Directly configure switches, routers, firewalls, and remote access devices. Manage Infrastructure team within Information Technology department with system and network administrators. Manage outside vendors and service providers, manage all renewals, quotes and contracts, and system resellers. Hire and manage contractors, as necessary. Manage and report on department budget. Plan and deliver long-term vision and strategy for bank infrastructure. Evening and weekend work will be required regularly and frequently. Process improvement, including teaching and documentation, to minimize system disruptions. Troubleshooting and fixing those that arise. Manage replacements of current technologies, as well as review, selection, and deployment of new technologies. Project management for various Bank technology initiatives. Work with CIO and all other Information Technology department head colleagues as part of a collaborative IT senior staff.

Summary:

Responsible for managing the Infrastructure team of system and network administrators to maintain continuous highly secure Bank operations, fix what’s broken, minimize disruptions, secure email and data, and plan and deliver projects for new and replacement technologies. This person will both manage the Infrastructure team and be the mid- to senior-level directly-hands-on network administrator. Information Security operations as directed by the Chief Information Security Officer are a critical part of this role.
